John Andrew Haldeman III passed from this life March 21, 2024. He was born November 19, 1942 in Fallsington, PA to John Haldeman II and Ginger.
John grew up in Pennsylvania and was raised by his grandparents. After high school he enlisted into the United States Coast Guard. He proudly served for 20 years and was a Chief Warrant Officer prior to his retirement. John met the love of his life, Cynthia Doty, in 1979. They married on May 15, 1980 and were blessed with two children and nearly 44 years of a wonderful marriage together.
John loved leather working and his motorcycle. He also enjoyed flying his quadcopters and drones. Together, John and Cynthia enjoyed many road trips together over the years.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, John Haldeman II and Ginger Haldeman; and his sister, Leigh Capriotti.
Those left to continue his legacy include his wife, Cynthia Haldeman; son, Don Haldeman and wife Penny; daughter, Genevieve Haldeman and her husband Byron Burkhalter; grandchildren, Jackson Burkhalter, Olivia Burkhalter, Katie Lawrence and her husband, Todd; Ashley Haldeman, and Alex Haldeman and his wife, Jordon; and great-grandchildren, Molly and Oliver Haldeman, and Elsie Lawrence.
John’s Celebration of Life service will take place at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 30, 2024 in the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 S.W. 104th St. OKC, OK 73139. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
